But as I’ve learned over a quarter-century of profound technological shifts, from the birth of the commercial web to the mobile revolution, a technology strategy without a Digital Consulting approach that is human-centered is destined to fail.
The power of artificial intelligence is also its greatest weakness in the eyes of the user: it is a “black box.” Your customers don’t understand how your algorithm works, and this lack of understanding naturally creates skepticism, anxiety, and a fundamental lack of trust. Forcing powerful AI tools on your users without first designing for this emotional and psychological reality is a recipe for rejection.
